Sense of Humour
I was listening to this morning broadcast of a program on Sense of Humour. The radio station has invited a special guest supposedly a Guru of Humour from Taiwan.
She said "One needs to practice sense of humour from time to time and when you have spread a joke 5 times or more, you will remember it and at the same time profess in the skill of sharing laughter with friends and family." I thought, maybe I should put it here so that I can remember that. I have modified the joke below slightly as I have not got the complete story as I have only turned on the radio half way through it.
One of the jokes that she has shared this morning was about a pig farmer being fined every time when the officer from Ministry of Agriculture visits him. He was accused of wasting food on pig feeds i.e. there are guidelines on the allowable food for the pigs to ensure no wastage of natural resources conforming to health and safety regulations.
After the fifth attempt of changing the pig feeds, and having paid fine for all previous inspection by the same officer, the pig farmer finally gave up and reply to the officer's question on what was fed to the pigs and say "I have given them $10 each a day to get their own food. I hope that is okay with you." The officer just laughs and speechless on hearing this but later compose himself to provide some advice on the allowable pig feeds.
